I was looking for a business that combined my entrepreneurial spirit with tangible results.

That summer, I discovered The Screen Machine, a franchise system specializing in mobile screen services. After spending just a few hours on a ride-along with their sales representative – generating $700 in sales while crafting screen doors and window screens – I was hooked. I knew I had found my future.

As a franchisee, I quickly rose to the top, becoming the system's highest producer and earning Franchise of the Year in 1996. However, my success revealed the limitations of the franchise system I had joined. Despite reaching over $30,000 in monthly sales, I faced a lack of meaningful support and reinvestment from the franchise's leadership.

It became clear that my success needed to align with a company that prioritized its franchisees. Unfortunately, The Screen Machine eventually folded due to poor management, but the lessons I learned during that time have stayed with me.

CrossBreeze Screens was born out of those lessons and a commitment to do things differently. I built this franchise system to provide aspiring business owners with the resources, support, and mentorship I wished I had received. I sold my thriving service company to focus entirely on creating a franchise experience that empowers owner-operators to succeed.
